Hydroelectric Generator Shaft
The hydroelectric generator shaft (hereinafter referred to as the "hydro-generator shaft") is a core transmission component of the hydro-turbine generator set. It undertakes the key function of transmitting the rotational torque of the hydro turbine to the generator rotor and driving the generator to generate electricity. Its performance directly determines the operation stability, efficiency, and service life of the unit.
The hydro-generator shaft needs to work for a long time under harsh operating conditions such as "high torque, variable load, humidity/dust (in some scenarios), and long-term continuous operation". Therefore, its design and manufacturing are centered around the three core goals of "reliability, efficiency, and durability", forming significant advantages including high mechanical strength, excellent fatigue resistance, high-precision processing with low loss, and reduced whole-life cycle costs.
